Fall Feelings

With the crisp air and, today, the chilly rain, I just can’t help but feel renewed. I know, I’m from the warped planet where up is down and dreary is good. But come on, it’s great. It’s just different from the standard sunny, bright, warm, and sometimes exhausting so-called good weather.
The sight of pumpkin, the smell of apple cinnamon or pumpkin spice… it’s just enough to make you wanna curl up all day long with someone you love. I guess it also makes it harder to want to take that big blanket off of you in the mornings!
It’s just my favorite time of year.

I also love fall. There is something about it that brings back fantastic childhood memories, and renews my faith in the goodness of humanity. Personally I think the cooler weather allows our brains to work at peak performance without being cooked in the summer heat (thus causing anger, road rage and very short tempers), or frozen by the winter temperatures (which turns everyone into warmth seeking creatures without a care for anything aside from how high they can turn the heater). Fall is the time to enjoy the outdoors, the bounty of the harvest and the companionship of friends.
