4-Foot In-Field Homerun

(I am in the center with the white looking pants, blue-sleeve shirt and hat)
I’ll feed your curiosity early on. We lost our first game (pretty badly) and won our second (beating a second team pretty badly). During the first game, the other team scored hit after hit. Biohazard is a good batting team. But we did the Mansters in pretty good during the next game. I had a pretty good game personally.
I’m not known for my batting, but I am getting to be known for my speed. One of my at-bats, I hit an infield grounder about half way in between third and the pitcher’s mound. I ran for my life! To my surprise, the first baseman missed the throw to get me out. I decided to head for second… and I ran. The second baseman missed the throw as well! So I was off to third. The third baseman missed the ball! And home I went. HOMERUN!!!
We only have a few more weeks, but I’m having a great time. It was a tad bit chilly, though! Next week I’ll just have to really bundle up.

Fall Feelings
![]()
With the crisp air and, today, the chilly rain, I just can’t help but feel renewed. I know, I’m from the warped planet where up is down and dreary is good. But come on, it’s great. It’s just different from the standard sunny, bright, warm, and sometimes exhausting so-called good weather.
The sight of pumpkin, the smell of apple cinnamon or pumpkin spice… it’s just enough to make you wanna curl up all day long with someone you love. I guess it also makes it harder to want to take that big blanket off of you in the mornings!
It’s just my favorite time of year.

Smarter Decisions
Went to the first Weight Watchers meeting last night only to find out that as a Men’s Online subscriber, I’m not really allowed at the meetings. Ohh-k. I did stay with Sarah for the first one since I was already there. The whole time I couldn’t help feel uncomfortable. I was shifty and looked away when others looked at me. I think part of my feeling came from the WW meeting leader, who was the one who told me I wasn’t welcomed at the meetings.
Well, I still am a member of WW, but I guess my approach is a bit different. I get to track my points and learn better habits, so that’s what matters. Learning these habits really didn’t come to me until this morning when I was reading some posts on the WW message boards. This whole thing is honestly about making smarter decisions. Instead of stuffing myself, or having that extra beer, or eating too many unhealthy snacks, it’s better to think about the decision and make the best choice possible. I guess the best choice isn’t always something we make, but if we fail, all we have to do is try again.

Man, oh man, what’s up with the lines at the post office. I went to pick up a package the other day and just couldn’t figure out why there were so many people in line, yet so few workers behind the counters. Maybe I should become a postal worker.
